cheap radio shack radio and magnetic antenna works fine for me

I went with the Cobra 75 WX and Firestick antenna mounted on a bracket behind the drivers side tail light. Overall I'm happy with it because it only takes up the space of the handheld hanging on it's hook no box anywhere it's buried under the dash. I have the SWR tuning box for the antenna but I admit I have no fucking clue what to do with it and I lost the instructions ages ago and am not really sure where the patch cable went...
