  3. Drove the jeep to the gas station at 6 this morning heading to Manhattan for side work. Was putting air in my tires and noticed a fuel leak. Had to go back home and get my tundra so as not to blow myself up. I hate Mondays!

  4. I always seem to have fuel leaks, I hate them!!!

    Another Monday is here..

Been crazy swamped with work. I went from being the laid back guy who got things done when he could. To the person needed to run half the business. So to say I've been busy is the understatement of 2011. Things are slowly starting to settle down and moving into a week to week process I can manage and find that free time again.

Sorry to all if I've been lacking here. Between work, family issues, etc. it's been a long few weeks. Most people would have caved by now to the pressure of this all being dumped on them at once but I'm just pushing forward 1 step at a time.

JETS win yesterday made this Monday 50x better too

I got back from my caqmping trip later today and was it cold. Woke up this morning to -8 degree temps.

To answer a few questions to how I cold weather camp, we use a beat-up old trailer that we dragged into the woods. It is heated somewhat but an old propane stove. My son left a pair of wet jeans on the floor and they froze to it.

I have alot of downed trees that we cut-up for firewood, I have a chainsaw that I leave at camp for this, and we make big fires this time of year.

We haul out what we haul in. This trip was a little tough as my JK broke 4 out of 5 lugs on the right rear tire while driving up 81 near Great Bend Pa. so it spent the weekend there awaiting new studs that are dealer only for the JK's

Because of this we had to walk through snow the 1/2 mile from the raod to the camp.

Still had a great time and can't wait to go back.

Sounds like you and your son are ready for Boy Scouts... My troop went camping this weekend in tents (unheated) out at Baiting Hollow, low temp was 5 degrees and the boys had a great time. Other Scoutmasters went so I got to sit this one out. Next Month the troop is going to Rhode Island for some cold weather camping.

So...whats the story about the lug nuts on the JK??? Known issue or did something happen to cause it?

I think we're to old for Boy Scouts. I'm 52 and he's 25. We used to tent in the winter but it's nicer in the snow to have a real floor under you.

I'm not sure if the stud thing is common but a few of the dealers we called said they had been selling alot of them.
