ok, my buddy Jeremy (RangerDanger) was up looking at it, how the guy that owns it has upped the price again to $700 non-neg. WTF, it aint a gold mine Jeep in showroom condition. If he keeps going this way, I just might have to have a beer and let this one go to the great mud pit in the sky

Sounds like you helping him out is making him think he has gold. Ive run into it too many times. Let it go. Xjs are disposable.

ok, so this will be my last entery about this XJ... I am not being told that there is too much wrong to make it worth selling. This means that he 1. had a change of heart and will be keeping it afterall (he drove it to work today) or 2. he is just that intent on crushing a vehicle and marked this one for death.

Either way, I tried... nothing more I can do. Its fate is not in my hands.

I am locking this thread as there is no more to discuse on the issue that was presented. In addition, I am thrown in the moral delema myself on what to do with my own XJ, fix, sell, trade, or junk it. I have had a recent rash of bad luck and have to decide myself on what I want to do and what is best for me at this point in time.
