    ZJ Brake Upgrade ?

O.k. so my jeep needs new rotors and such. While poking around on JF, I came across a couple posts talking about doing the WJ brake upgrade...It involves some different knuckles and such. Anyway, I was wondering if there were any local ZJ guys that have done this ? Sounds like it might be something worth doing for better stopping power.

  2. Ive had a few people ask about this upgrade but they never followed through. Looks pretty straight forward. But i dont know anyone here that actually done the upgrade yet.

  5. Yeah ive seen a few threads about this. Takes the WJ knuckle and calipers and rotors and mods the 4.5 bolt pattern hub bearing to fit the WJ knockle. And you mod, the WJ rotors to work with the 4.5 bolt pattern.. I know theres a master cylinder upgrade as well using a WJ master in an XJ or ZJ.

  6. yes, the main brake master cylinder upgrade you are talking about is mainly XJ related. There is a sticky about JY parts fitting the XJ.

I just figured I'd look into it. I definitely need new rotors and such bad. If it was cheap enough, I thought this might be a good budget upgrade..
