Not ignoring you, I haven't been to demo or sore in a while. I haven't had issues with Gin or Shagwong in Montauk which I've been to more recently. I'm mostly in Moriches now.
My buddy told me him and his friends used to do this when he went to the beach, will anyone give us a hard time if we get one of those 'disposable' grills or bring a camping grill and have dinner on the beach? Would anyone give us trouble even if we're all set up with fishing gear? State beaches, by the way. Not county. Demo / sore thumb?

No one will bother u for a grill. Everyone does it. Just be sure to be resposnible and do a good clean up. There are guys out there with their camper with full size grills and insane spreads.
