    bond fire on the beach

    Good idea or not? I would to make one on the beach. what beach might be the best place to do this?

    New to this whole Jeep thing, itching to get the tires muddy.

    one with no cops for sure. we used to do it at smiths point but they broke our balls said he had to be a certain size .

    how often do cops come around on the beach? are they even on the beach this time of year?

    If your getting the state permit it says clearly on the booklet they give you its not allowed. Do people still do it? yes. As long as you keep it small and in a container ie some closed off metal tub or fire ring they might not bother you. And if you decide to do it be sure to fully extinguish it when ure done and clean up any debris left over. Do not leave open burn pits around cause then they will start busting balls. As long as your respectful of the beach and not getting out of control you can pretty much do as youd like... But do it at your own risk. they can take ur beach pass away

    we used a 55gal drum cut in half then wehn done drag it near the water to cool it off before we set the truck on fire bringing it home the state cops cruise it a lot i work on all their beach trucks and they arent affraid to to anywhere ive replaces a number if destroyed diff housings being they think a stock durango is set up to rock crawl. also some think you can baja a stock durango i dont know how many radiators and tranny coolers ive seen ripped off lol.. ive told them a number of times to buy a truck meant for the beach not a soccer mom 4x4

    ^ Durangos are pretty nice though lol. My friend used to have one that was pretty quick, til he blew the tranny(his fault lol). And I heard they're nice driving trucks.

    Oh, the new ones suck. I like the 1st gen. Durangos after that just blow.

    the only reason to have a durango is to put child car seats in OR rip out the steering box and bolt it into your Jeep! ahahah

    I went to smiths point last night around 9 and saw some guys having a fire near the inlet and again near the entrance/exit... Anyone from here by any chance?
