All these things are far away cause nobody in our area have them. They have a decent trail setup.

  10. ok so here is how it goes. By 1pm Im realizing that Im tired and do I want to unload all my Duff stuff Randy placed in the back and at the same time for me to sleep again in the back of the 79 after I was unprepaired without a sleeping bag.....cause it was frezzing even with double up clothes but thats a whole other story...
I sent a text to my Brother who lives about a hour and twenty away and wanted to know his plans for the eve. Low key night maybe stop by ok.. A COUPLE MORE HOURS PASS and Im really tired yea wimp I know Scored well with the fenders and the $50 gas cards,, thank you for the gift givers....Did a quick walk around and tried to say my good byes sorry for some I missed. I leave and Im like a half a mile from 190 AND realise the air matteress is still at seans cause I didn't want to deflate and reflate.....lazy so I turn around and grab it and loose at least a half hour. I fuel up at the highway saw a couple bronco peeps and hit the highway. In about 10 mins I said forget it, Im going straight home and sent the text to my brother. Im crusing and doing 65 70 or so. I thought at one point I felt a vibration for a few seconds but the roads are so differnt in some parts so I didnt think about it and next thing ya know I pass a car and pull back into the right lane and let off and all hell breaks loose banging and the truck jumped twice in the rear and I new what it was but was scarred the the driveshaft would fly out the back cause this idiot in a PT crusier was on my butt. I slowed down without slamming the brakes on and stayed tight to the right. climbed over the pass side and looked under and was like WOW broke a ear off the output on the tranny side, smashed up the floor and the exhaust and the driveshaft is hurt. Now it hits me..... I forgot my travel tool box and why???? I never travel without it untill now In my mind I think Im ahead off Jay and the Bronocade, nope there ahead of me little did I know. But my first call was to AAA cause I have the 200 mile tow and I figured call them first and if the guys stop by I will pull the rear drive shaft put in 4wd and head home nope the tow truck shows and the guy is way cool and explained to him that I was mad I didn't have tools and I wanted to pull the driveshaft off and continue.. He did a temp hook up cause I was in a bad spot and we pulled over to a better place and made sure the truck was secure. We talked trucks and cars and found out he is a ford guy@ heart. SO I said drop me off @ the ferry and let me use ya tools and I will make it the rest of the way. He said sounds good, He didnt want me driving the last 30 miles on the highway in just the front at 50 plus. we pulled in with like 3 mins till the boat was going to leave he said go get ya ticket and I did. when i was walking out he had the truck dopping off and the driveshaft off and I locked the front hubs and slammed it in 4wd and started to pull away and he was yelling ....want ya driveshaft I said yea throw it on the floor and gave him $20 and shot for the ferry pulled on and they closed the gates behind me It felt like a quick ride and the 12 miles home was really no differnt with the front draggin me. Glad it was not locked all and all it was a great trip and well worth it..... Thanks to Sean and Dave(even though you took my glory) for all there hard work and making this B.Y.O.B a really great event...
