  1. Little J ARSES Paddling Adventure, May 19-20

In case anyone would be interested:

After some discussion in this thread, it looks like we are going to shoot for May 19-20 this year. Check out this link to last year's trip. We had quite a time. The Little J is located in central PA. Depending on water levels it can be an easy class 1 to a challenging class 2 river. Expect to get wet. Bring a positive attitude and a sense of adventure, ummm and a life jacket. We will be camping at the Green Hills campground in Baree. As soon as I confirm with them I will post info so you can reserve a camp site.

Last year we put in the Little J at Tyrone and paddled back to the camp on the river, ~13 miles. We also paddled on the Frankstown Branch of the Juniata from the Lower trailhead at Alexandria to roughly Petersburg ( 7 miles). Other options are Williamsburg to Alexandria on the Frankstown branch, ~11miles of class 1-2 and/or main Juniata from below Warriors Ridge Dam to the point at Huntingdon, 8 miles of class 1-2.

There are a lot of options at this time of year. Water conditons and group consensus will dictate where we end up.
