The following dialog is fictional and not based on anything in the present and or past. Feel free to keep the story running. This is meant for fun and I will start it off.

The date is some time in the near future. The following are excerpts out of a diary kept by fellow New Yorker. This was found after he disappeared. Looks like he was on to something.

Day 1
There has been some talk on the news about a new virus or something that is infecting the local population. They have not said a name to it yet. The news report says that it is not curable and has been compared to the AIDS virus. The news lady said that the CDC is looking into it. For now it is life as normal, work and home. No one seems to know were this new infection came from or if they can find a cure or not. The news station said that it is only a few isolated cases. They are leaving more questions than answers. Funny that's the way new bugs always start out.
Day 10
There has been more talk about that new virus in the last few days. Now it has been said that it is a living parasite from before the days of the dinosaurs. It was supposedly dormant, locked in the polar caps and awakened due to global warming. Global warming my ass, if that were true, then why have we been having record snow falls for the last 10 years? It seems like the government likes to blame all its problems on global warming. Its global warming's fault that the economy is bad, that we are in yet another world war, that the federal debt is at an all time high and climbing, the list goes on and on. As I sit here and write there was a news flash... the new virus has been named... XZA1. More cases have been confirmed and is reaching pandemic levels now. Just the other day there were only about 100 isolated cases, now there are over 10K worldwide. What the hell is happening?
Day 15
It has been a few days since I wrote last. The official word now is that we are in a worldwide pandemic with thousands of new cases each day. They are giving out a list of symptoms and urging anyone that has them to go to their nearest hospital. I may not be an expert, but the symptoms sure seem like hypothermia to me. There has been a lot of military presence the last few days, and people have been taken away and not coming back. I fell safer staying in my house, I don't think I am gonna go out unless absolutely needed.
Day 30
It has been a while again since I last wrote. There have been some updates since my last writing. There are now over 1 million cases of XZA1 and growing. This bug has developed rapidly and adapted to us humans. Now it reanimates the dead that it affected. On the plus side, if you are already dead, you stay that way, if you were infected before death, you can be reanimated. Its a damn Zombie Virus!!!! Wait!!! XZA- X= Experimental, Z= Zombie A= Apocalypse... This is no ancient bug, its a damn human engineered parasite. Our own government built it and released it into the world!!! Those arrogant bastards, who the hell are they to think they can play God?? Time to bunker down and prepare for the long haul. I should have seen this sooner, I hope I survive.
Day 31
New Update: The world has been declared a war zone and the Feds are now saying it is open season on Zombies. Last night it was finally stated, we are in a Zombie Apocalypse. So it begins... I was wondering how the world would end, never though it would be by human hands.
