hahaha I hope you had some ear plugs for the ride home! Could have been a lot worse... Glad you came out man!
Great weekend all around. Some dings here and there but its got to be expected. I made it out in one piece except for a leaky rear diff... By far my favorite Rausch trip to date!

It wasn't anything spectacular... or surprising for that matter. Last winter I cheaped out and bought replacement catalytic converters from Eastern Catalytic instead of going to Jeep, it was about half the price and I had to do the cats to pass emissions. Unfortunately the bends on the pipes are not correct so when the suspension droops on the passenger side the lower control arm shoves the whole thing towards the driver side... which places it directly above the front pinion. Towards the end of the day the pinion and exhaust started doing naughty things to each other and by the time we got off the trails I had a good 5 inch by 3 inch torn hole in the lower pipe and my Jeep sounded like a ricer with a fart can exhaust.
After looking at it today I pretty much have two options, buy a new cat Y pipe from Jeep or a junkyard if I can find one OR pull out the one in there and chop the crap out of it and weld it back together. Had to take the kids to a b-day party so its going to be loud for the week. I bought a patch kit but when I crawled under I decided not to even open it, it won't cover the hole.

Ya, the shovel took at least two really good shots judging by the marks on it... thats what I get for following some of your lines! LOL
Anyway, thanks again to Dom for helping me try to beat the exhaust into submission and to Berm for the bailing wire. We had a blast and the kids had a great first trip to RC... they kept shouting "is this the mud hole" and "is he stuck?" It was great.

Maybe try to have someone fab up the correct bend for ya.

I picked up a piece of exhast pipe, I will try just taking a section out of the runner that goes in front of the oil pan and see if that corrects it and if it doesn't I will rework the bends by pie cutting the tube and welding it in sections. It will take some time but I have more of that than money so thats where I am at for now.
