Theres something seriously wrong with me. (an ongoing infection!)

So today i added another member to the Goonie fleet. Why? Because there is something wrong with me. I had good reason to by this new toy. But its amazing how i justified buying a whole vehicle in the name of good used parts.

As many know i already have 5 Jeeps plus my ElCamino and my wifes CRV. 88 MJ, 92 XJ, 93 ZJ, 93 YJ and the parts 94 XJ. Why? I dont know. So the newest added member is an 88 long bed Comanche. Started out simple enough. He wanted to part it out. I wanted the coveted Dana 44 in the rear. he wanted $300. for for the axle. i said ok what gear ratio? Hes a busy guy so he has limited time. So what do i do? i ask how much for the whole truck? Back and forth and up and down. Now i own a whole truck because i wanted the rear D44 LOL.

The good.
New gas tank, 4 inch lift, Dana 44, ok tail gate, 1 good tail light, Flowmaster, good doors, NP231, driveshafts, bucket seat interior (but maroon), sliding rear glass and a new floor. Oh and a rear ubolt eliminator kit for a SOA swap.

The bad.
Rusted wheel wells, banged up bed, shot fenders, not running, disconnect front axle, no rims (sitting on donuts), no bumpers.

In the end the lift, axle, tank, sliding glass, muffler, tailgate, tail light, SOA kit, and so on are worth the cost. But the truck has to go to scrap to recoup some of the cost. I hate to shred a rare MJ. But its to rough to spend the time on.

So thats how i eneded up with a 6th Jeep and convinced myself to buy a whole truck for the parts i dont really NEED. But i really WANTED. LOL.

Oh and i bought Thooogys old Pro Comp tires today as well. Why? Did i need 4 more 31 inch tires? No. I did because they where there to buy!

Don't worry I have the same problem, I have way too much stuff and I always get more. What are you going to sell on the trucK

Good question i am a greedy SOB. What do you need? I want the rear, gas tank, tailgate, tail light, lift and muffler. I will take alot more off before it gets junked. But it will be stuff i may need or know i could sell. So tell me what you are looking for. I will tell you no lies. LOL

Yup. Good kid. Actually works for a friend of the shops (Planet). He knows quite a few OO members like Wade and Nick (comanche717). Hes got a nicely setup XJ. We spent a good 2 hours just bull shitten about people we collectively knew and Jeep plans.
