Raptor Liner - Best product ever for do it yourselfers

So, I know I told everyone I wanted to go for my first wheeling experience this weekend, but I ended up too excited to try this kit that I bought out and made it a weekend project. So next week for wheeling!

Anyway, this stuff is amazing. I got quoted $225 by a line-x dealer to do this job for me. It costed me $110 for the kit I bought, and I only used 1 of the 4 bottles. So really this was a $25 job.

The kit comes with 4 liters of liner material and the hardener you have to mix in. The measuring system to mix in hardener is idiot proof. You fill it to the line on the bottle, recap it and shake.

The kit comes with a nifty spray gun that you need an air compressor for or alternative method like I used.

People on jeepforum have done their entire interior or even entire vehicle in this stuff. I would say it is the exact same quality and consistency of Rhino/Line-X

It is also extremely easy to use the gun is very controlled and doesnt overspray much.

Anyway, check it out. I will definitely be doing more stuff with it, if not my entire interior.

  2. Nice. Looks great. I would put this in the Product review section or the General 4X4 tech section. The product review section needs some building up. Do you have a link to post?? I like how it comes as a kit. I would be interested in something like that.

I accidentally linked you the tintable kit. They make it colormatchable. You have to have a shop colormatch it for you on the side.

I bought the plain black kit.

  6. Looks nice on the rock rails. I have been thinking of getting a kit and the roll on stuff can get blochy and is hard to spread evenly. the spray looks like it fixes that.

The link still give you an idea. Thanks

  10. i did my grill, front bumper, lower half of body and doors, door sills and tailgate. This stuff is the sheeeeet. it holds up to pinstripe trees, rocks, sand and other stuff really well. I have taken hits to my doors where they have dented but the raptor stayed intact
