    Beer

Just like the title says.. This thread is all about beer.
I want to know your current favorites, all-time favorites, and recommendations.

My current favorite is probably Post Road Pumpkin ale, although they are a lot of decent 'pumpkin' beers out there.

All time favorite type of beer is probably Belgian, my favorite being Gulden Draak. Nice flavor, goes down suprisingly easy albeit a high ABV.. around 9%.

Delerium Tremens is also high on my list.

The newest beer ive had is the limited edition Blue Point "Toxic Sludge" A really heavy IPA. Dark, rich, color and extremely hoppy. Comes in a 22oz bottle. Great part is ALL proceeds go directly towards the clean up of the Gulf oil spill. Other than that, "Good" beer, I love the Dogfish head 90 min IPA. But you can never go wrong with Keystone and Bud heavy...

I need to get around to trying the Blue Point 'Toxic Sludge'.. sounds good, can't really go wrong with any IPA..

And of course, when i'm not in the mood to spend any $$ on beer, I can always kick back a few PBRs..

I've been trying to get over to the brewery for a tasting but it always seems to get put off. I say we do a Jeep trip.

That is one hell of an idea! I'd definitely be down for something like that..

Black Duck Porter IPA mixed with South Hampton Pumpkin ale

the bitter bite is toned down by the sweet pumpkin, with chocolate and coffee undertones.

Go to the Islip Beer Distributor and talk to Harry... He'll fill you up a growler that will straighten you right up or make you go straight down lol

Big Bass that idea sounds like a great idea. Lets do it! I'll find out what days they do tastings.

My list would be, From the tap; Bass, Sam Adams, Guinness. And this is the order I'll get it in. Unless I see that the bar knows what it's doing with the Guinness (i.e. put the shamrock on top). Then I start with Guinness. Bottled beer, I'm less picky. It all tends to taste the same.
