    Wj front hitch install

Was looking to mount up a hitch on the front of my wj without spending the 200$ price tag for the warn. I have a hitch already that I picked up from someone on here and it didn't fit like it was supposed to so I can use that and modify it. How should I go about doing this tho? Should I just try to weld it to the frame somehow? Or Mayb use the spot where the factory tow hooks would of been if it came with them and slide a price of steel in there with nuts welded on it like the back part of the tow hooks use. Any idea at all would be great.

Really depends on how you plan to use it. If its going to be a tow point you better make sure its install correctlly and safely, you don't need it getting ripped off while using it and someone getting hurt.

Of course! But what's the rite way to do just that? I'm prlly Gona get the warn winch plate so I have a removable winch, but how can I install this so it can take a beating? Should I use the same basic idea that the tow hooks used with a backing plate and bolts goin into that ?

I would use at least 3/16 steel for the backing plate and 1/2" Grade 8 bolts and you should be ok.
