You can break ure toys and still have a way home...

agreed,i never saw the logic of the guys who sead you were weak if you trailer your rig,to me it means you can go just that much harder and still be sure to get it home for monday mornin'

I'm currently making a new pack with some basic gear in it. Not talking about things like tow straps, high lifts, and jumper cables.. Those things are a GIVEN. But those other items out on the highways and byways you may have a need for when nobody else is around.

My current pack consists of the following so far but it's on my basement floor as I'm remaking the pack and updating it with additional items. So this is just the base what I have in a pile so far while I'm gathering up everything else from my garage/workshop.

    First Aid Kit
    Bug Spray
Emergency Blanket (the silver tiny folded one)
Warmers (the crack and put in pocket kind)
Fleece blacket w/ built in strap
    Gloves
    Binoculars
    Tire plug kit
    Zip ties varying sizes
    Light stick
Couple metal rings, and a carbiner
    Tire deflators
    Flashlight
    Rope

I'm going to build up a basic tool roll to add in I just have to finish organizing all my junk from the garage cleanup / workshop cleanup process I've got my stuff spread out over 3 places here at the house need to put all this crap together in 1 place!
Add some Gojo and some rags so if you work on your rig, you can clean up instead of getting it all over your steering wheel. I also sugest some wet naps, duct tape and a roll of toilet paper.

I always take tow rope, fire extinguisher, basic tools, shovel, cables, fluids, fuses bulbs etc.
When I go upstate I take along a sleeping bag, small chainsaw ( Ive had to cut down several trees to continue on some of the trails in the Adirondacks)
water, first aid kit, flashlights, etc. Basically anything I can think of that I might need miles out in the woods with no cell service if I break down.
I really would like to look into getting a cb. I have never had one but seems very useful in groups if separated and where I go upstate its a 45 minute drive down the mountain to get any cell service.
all the braclets, wraps, key fobs, zipper pulls i have of paracord are made by me
i also can make 2 colored braclets

made that one for my girlfriend

and the monkey fist is one of my favs...i keep that one on my kayak

if you want i can make you one in black its gonna be the thinner one like the one i made for my girlfriend and have a black buckle...dont have anymore d rings

i usually sell em 5$ a pop if anyone wants one shoot me a PM i have multiple colors (red, neon green, orange, black, olive drab, neon yellow, neon blue, neon pink, pink camo) all paracord is 550

A few things I keep in my Jeep day to day, haven't packed for the trail yet.
    Baby wipes
    rubber gloves
    3 cell mag light
    Electrical tape
    a minimum 2' pry bar
at least 1-6' piece of 3/8 DOT tow chain.
    assorted hand tools
    Bug spray
plus some of those kill everything disinfectant wipes

If I were to hit the trail or travel more then an hour from home that list would grow quite a bit but I'm just getting settled in to my jeep.

Always add safety glasses, because there is nothing more annoying then doing a repair on the trail and having mud and rust falling in your face.
