  1. OK, I retract part of my previous posting... upon closer inspection when I had the time to do so, it looks like the tube blew out and took the tire with it. I am leaning that someone did not cut the tire as my previous quick assessment concluded. Still no less of a sting since I rode once this season so far and then the bike was on the bike rack since and it blew out under no stress or load. Still scratching my head over that one.

I ride a 20" bmx bike, I usually ride at greenlawn skatepark since it's kind of close to me but I've ridden at the cunningham trails, the boondocks and a couple other places. I'd like to goto Cunningham again sometime soon if anybody wants to take a trip there! I also heard about some bmx trails in northern massapequa/ plainedge I'd like to check out!

  4. Rode 6 miles today on a local multi use paved trail. Felt good to get out and stretch the legs, and now they are a lil sore. lol... did some last min geocaching while I was out to add to the fun of the ride.

I like the new tire I got, and will be getting another for the rear of the bike too. I will post up details on the tire later when I get the chance.

  6. I started making a wish list of parts that I want to change or upgrade on the Goose. For what I am gonna drop into it, I am thinking I will save the money, then go buy one that has most of the options already there and start with that. I may still look to change out a few things on the Goose for now but wont drop the whole amount into it, just the small things I have on the list like tires, shifters, seat post, handle bar stem, etc. Maybe add some saddle bags for extra storage space for spare parts and tools.
