    Steering box upgrades

So Ive been running a 99 Dodge Durango steering box on the Jeep. It was a great up grade at the time. Much stronger, direct bolt in, and only cost me $70 at Lakewood auto salvage. But after 3 years its starting to leak and getting worse by the day. So im thinking after this Rausch trip its a goner... Been looking at some new after market boxes but there isnt much info in them. There are a few companies who make them PSC, Superbox, AGR. And PSC seems to be the leader. I figure I should just go new since the Jeep is finally at a place where Im happy and I dont think I wanna keep putting scrap yard parts on it with the potential for them failing again.

Anyone have any input on this? Anyone ever run any aftermarket steering boxes?

It seems that the PCS ones are all old overhauled boxes. And the ARG are new. Plus the ARG have a compatible pump and Hydro system upgrade available for the future when Im on 40s! hahaha Leaning toward the ARG.

Do you have the same bolt pattern as wranglers? If so its a great upgrade.

Yeah. It's a direct bolt in. Looks like there's a couple other options too.

Why not just rebuild what you have?
2007 Rubicon unlimited, lifted, better bumpers, Warn winch, bigger tires, aftermarket skids (already dented), snorkel, used and abused

They do make a re build kit for Durango boxes that runs about $40 . But Ive heard bad things about it, theres not much to it but doing the seals is real easy to screw up and then it will leak all over again. Id rather just spend the money on new and forget about it.
