yea hand tool you gotta go craftsman. I dont see it worth spending the money on some crazy brand like snapon when craftsman has a lift time guarantee on hand tools. Ive broken a ratchet that belonged to my grandfather from how knows when and they just handed me a new one. I see harbor freight good if you need a cheep power tool like a cut off wheel or something. I got my arbor press form them and I love it.

  5. Went to my first Harbor Freight today LOL. When you have 3 tool trucks coming to your job a week theres not much need for Harbor freight run. BUT they do have some good supplies. Got a rubber gromit assortment box, and degree angle gauge, polishing wheel kit and an assortment of lock pins. All for less than $50. There Chinese hand tools scare me. But i do want there 20 ton press and the big pipe bender. Also looking to buy there big service cart. Not a bad place for disposable tools. Good for the at home projects. But not what i would use on a daily basis.

Same here with the tool trucks and I already have way to may tools as it is, but i like all the little stuff they have and would like some of the bigger shop tools for home but need to make some room first. We should do another OO harbor freight take over.

Wich pipe bender? The one that bends up to 3 inch? Im looking to get that one. I want the 20 ton press to. We have the machine shop next door with a press. But i am the type of guy, that if i use it or borrow it more than once. I buy my own. Thats why i have 2 double bay tool boxes full of tools and i still need more space. Never ever have enough tools. I know i have well over 25 grand and still buyin all the time. Never ends.

I did love the little misc crap they have. The hardware stuff, throw away drill bits, sawzall blades. All that stuff is great to find cheap. There having some big tent sale next weekend. Im looking to get the big tool cart they have. $159 for a 5 drawer tool cart with a locking lid. Snap on wants $500. for the same basic cart through there Bluepoint line. Tool boxes you need quality (and its nice to have pretty), but a cart is for kicking around and hittin with a hammer when you get pissed. So the cheaper the better LOL. But it actually looks pretty well build. If it starts to fall apart i will brace it and weld it up. Easy.

I was at HF the other weekend because I needed a deep socket for my leaf blower, and stone grinding discs to cut some slate for my front walkway.

    Found them no problem.

Also bought a large machete for $4.99

Did I need it? No.. But a large machete for $4.99 is a steal and should always be purchased when offered!! Now I just need to sharpen it up nice.

I still will not buy anything safety-related there. That's just my not trusting knock off products keeping me alive.
