OO Arcade open for business

I put in an Arcade module for the site.

Some games are in, some are in and will be removed cause their broke, and more will be added in the near future :)

Does that cover it all? I hope so! Seriously tho I have to go through each one, 1 by 1 to make sure they save scores, etc. so it's a PITA. If you find a game you play and it breaks or doesn't save the score, just post it up in this thread so I can remove it asap.

If there's types of games you want to see just post up what you're looking for and I'll try to find them for ya.

I see folks playing already, good times.

I'll go through it all sometime tomorrow and weed out the broken games I think I got most of the bad ones out.

The ones that are flash "mochi" based or whatever have ads in them which kinda sucks. The arcade software basically says that's the price you pay for free games. I'm going to look for more this week that are regular and not based on the "mochi" platform but I'll leave the top 10 or so of those games up in the arcade.

All staff can start tournaments for now I wanted to limit it while testing but I'll open it up more next week so anyone can start a tourney in their favorite games.

Lil' Arcade Update: Mochi games now can save/update leaderboard scores. Needed to make a few alterations to get things working. Now it's working :)

Some of them are major kiddie games I'll be deleting them, they have some nice flash-based games though, shooters and stuff.

Gawd I'm going down the line trying/testing each game to make sure it.

A - Works
B - Saves Score

and a lot of these games are crapola I'm deleting the junk out and I'll find better ones to replace them with.

We could do it if people want it. I've seen both Xbox and Steam integration for the forums available but it's geared more towards gaming sites so I'm iffy on using any of those tools. Might be best to just have a general gaming thread in the Lounge or if there's enough overall gaming interest we could make it a subforum of the Lounge or something like that..

Hahaha yeah I noticed that today when I checked in at the arcade to make sure things were still working in there :)

I didn't click the high score list to see how many time it took him though. A herculean effort though either way!!

For the record, Tom's having issues with it saving his score. So I will look into this tonight and see if I can figure out what's going on since nothing changed here on OO's end.
