mygig nav

hey everybody looking to get a mygig for my jk wrangler...was wondering if it was even worth it? anyone have one and enjoy it? my gps was stolen a few month ago and i am in the market to get a new one but was thinking maybe i should spend a few extra bucks and get the mygig used!!

If you are shopping on Ebay, make sure you are getting the right model. Some radios look like MyGig, but are just a touch screen, no Nav, no Sat Radio.

Yea I've been looking into all the info on them they are deff expensive new but used you can get it for around 5 to 6 hundred.... It's a really cool system!!! I deff won't be buying off eBay most likely craigslist so I can actually see it before I purchase!! And hoping to get one for 400!! ;)

the thing with the mygig is that if u dont have the gps antenna or the sat ant. its worthless to u! plus the cost of all the extra stuff is going to cost more than u think! trust me I see people try to buy them all the time and they have no idea what there getting there selves into so I have to tell the sales department its going to cost more than they think!
PS some do come w/o the Sat built in

boo yea i heard of all the horror stories i dont care about sat radio or the antenna but the gps antenna i've seen the oem antenna for around 50 or the same one not made my jeep for 32 so not too bad

I don't see much of a point. Looks like it would cost at least 400 bucks (if not more) why not just get a good gps for 100-150 bucks?
