After blowing mine up the other night, I need a new front driveshaft, the stock one needed to be lengthened about 2.5-3 inches to ensure the right amount of spline engagement, I'm wondering if any other jeep front shaft will fit instead of paying big money for a Tom woods one or something. I have a 4.0,ax-15, 231.
Any help is appreciated!

Deer park driveshaft said it'll be 150 to lengthen it, figured I'd ask if any other shafts are a bit longer, I'm assuming a auto Cherokee front shaft is an inch longer but that's still not a big help

A front YJ shaft may be longer but the bottom line is your gonna have to modify it. Even a YJ one will need to be lengthened. And its more to lengthen a shaft then to shorten. So $150 sounds about rite. I may have an automatic shaft laying around and i can sell it to you for less than $70. for sure. But theres no cheating the price to mod it.
