View Full Version : Offroad/ Geocaching Trip Pics

I Made the trip out to the Burnt-Rossman Hills State Forest to find a GeoCache. While there did do some light offroading too.
I was specificly going after GC5D23 Looking Glass Pond Cache (Traditional Cache) in New York, United States created by Valdana (http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_details.aspx?wp=GC5D23) Cache.

I am definately going. We will hook up by cell phone and CB as we discussed on the phone. Hope you can make it too Eric.

Yea, I figured as much, but also wanted to open the invitation to anyone else that had the time to make it up to join in the fun.

lol, well as said, some might want to go other not, figured it couldnt hurt to throw the invite out there to everyone just in case. I am going rain or shine. I dont want to hold on to the travel bug too long and need to get it to a new cache closer to its goal. Figured this one would be a good spot.

i have 2 travel bugs. one has been to like 4 countries already and one has been to like 25 different states. i think im gonna drop them in pa next month

yea, I have a travel bug too, but i need more money to feed mine... I love to travel and dont get to do it as often as I would like.

A couple of pics from the road to looking glass pond. Didn't get pics of the more difficult spots as I was taking them and driving.

Here is a pic link. It was pretty up there so we will have to go back when we have more time since we found a couple of other trails.

hahaha, couldnt get the jeeps down there anyway, but the top of the water fall had a slight overhang and was bit steeper than 90*

nice pics dave, I will get mine uploaded as soon as I can... I agree, have to go back some time, maybe we can make it an OO event. I am determind to find that geocache by the waterfalls and griss mill.

I didnt get many as I was on a GeoCaching mission, and was more focused on that and where the Jeep was pointed

You're always welcome to join up with us. Gonna do one in the spring next year to place a cache that is 4x4 friendly
