Man that was brutal last night. They are choking hard and the bats are fast asleep.

It's almost painful to be watching, glad I watched the 2nd half of the Knicks game instead of the first 6 innings of the Yankees game. At least the Knicks fought hard!!!

You Yankees fans are horrible, your team made it to the post-season and you're all jumping ship already..talk about band-wagon!

I'm a die-hard Mets fan and I'd be ecstatic if we even made it this far. I watched all 162 regular season Mets games and attended about 15, and if you think just last night was brutal for the Yankees, try being a Mets fan for one day!

No, I'm a realist. The Yankees backed into the playoffs to begin with. Clubbing Minnesota like a baby seal was just to tease the fans.
Phillies are more of a shocker since they were on a roll going in moreso, their bats have been pretty quiet too.

Of course a Mets fan would be happy being in the NLCS, they don't have 27 Championships to have that higher level of expectation.. nyah nyah :)

My family is 1/2 and half. Actually more like 3/4 and 1/4 on the Mets side. So I've seen their pain. I just usually laugh and snicker at them...........

.......now they'll get the last laugh.

Honestly it's been such a boring post-season in general I'm glad the Knicks season is about to start up. They haven't won since the year I was born but I still will cheer for them until the day I die, or the day they replace human players with robots.. Whichever comes first.

At this point, as a Mets fan, I'd be happy with a winning record next season. Talk about low expectations. We shall see what the new GM and new manager bring to the team as there is only so much you can do with the players you have,

As for the post-season goes, I just don't think I can stomache another Phillies-Yankees world series, I'd prefer the Yankees over the Phillies to make it though.. as I can't stand the Phillies!

The changes the Mets made have been needed for the past 3-4 years now. I hope it brings that org back for more positive headlines. .500+ should not be a problem assuing they work their draft and farm systems good, make solid trades, release the dead weight, etc.

Other than Yankees-Phillies what other combo will anyone watch? Yankees-Giants I guess but Rangers-Giants will get the lowest ratings in 20 years especially with it being the week the NBA starts up taking away a chunk of viewers with all the Miami Heat hype going on.

They made the comeback tonight but this was expected.

A glimmer of hope remains. They have to win 3 total in Texas for this series now (1 already won with the final 2 games needing to be stolen), that's no easy task for any team.

I bet they'll drag it out to mess with you emotions. At least thats what my Mets, Rangers and jets do. Well not the Jets this year.

Not the Jets YET lol. Revis Island last week was getting a little molested by a rookie at times which makes me think he's not 100% recovered from that injury yet.

Yanks will win Game 6, and then Game 7 vs Lee will either be him going whatever n 0 for his postseason career and striking out the world, or the Yanks will finally get to him and put him deep under the mound in the Texas sun. Of course hoping for the latter hoping last night brings them out of that funk cause they're known to come out of a funk and go on a tear.
