FIRE SALE 93 and possible 96 ZJ parts trucks.

OK i have had this 93 Grand Cherokee ZJ larado i have picked pretty much to the bone. But there are some parts left. Hood, 2 fenders, Rear doors, new master cylinder with good booster and ABS pump. A few other odds and ends. BUT it going to scrap in the next couple of days. So act fast if interested.

Secondly, and more as a feeler for anyone that mite be interested. I have made an offer on a 96 Grand Cherokee ZJ larado. If i get it. it will be a fast tear down and scrap. Bad tranny and knocking motor. I want the rear disc axle, the trailer hitch and some accessories. i may be missing some things. But the big thing is it has Canyon wheels and i already have a set, so they would be up for sale. Biggest thing is that it has a NP242. i will be pulling the case, driveshafts and shift selector so it would be an easy upgrade package. Its Green and has all good sheet metal. Interior im not sure what im taking yet.

Basicly just giving a heads up if i do get it. I have to get it, tear it up and scrap it in like a week maybe 2 if im lucky. No room at the shop for it rite now. It will come with a title so selling it after parts are off that i want is an option. If you need a clean shell. So if your in the market for some ZJ parts please PM me or respond to this thread. If it falls through i will post an update, i will also post pics later tonight. The owner has to get back to me on my offer, so we will see.

I figured there was a few of you that would need some stuff. I will post pics tonight so people get a better idea of what it looks like. i have to check the drivers seat to see what shape its in first. But the doors and the steering box will be no prob. i took the front doors off the 93 so i dont need another set. This is all speculation intill i have title in hand. but its good to know what i need to pull. So i can get it gone.

P.S. evilpersona....i have the rear hatch cover pulled from the 93 if you want to get it. If the 96 is a better match you could take that but for a small fee. I need to recoupe the money spent on the 96 if he goes for my offer.

The 96. Not 100% sure he is going to take the offer i made but his father wants it out from behind his shop next to us. So we will see. Once i know i will post that parts are available.

i was gonna PM you as soon as i get the title. The header panel is good and im pretty sure the console is you style. The 93-95s had different packages and the 96 to 98s all shared alot of the same stuff. Including interior and dash styles. Plus i will have to see what condition its in but maybe we can steal and use that exhaust for you dads 97. He should have the identical truck, so if he needs anything as well. Start making lists.

Well the 93 went to Jeep heaven this afternoon. I was happy as $h!^. Bought the thing for $340. Sold some stuff and made like $100. then loaded it full of old spare parts i had no use for and junked it for $519 bucks. Sweet, got a full drivetrain, steel wheels, and a bunch of other crap and still made money back.

But on the 96 ZJ, things dont look likt they will work out. Guys son said he has someone that will come to his house do the parts removal of what he wants and pay him $1,000. Said hes getting $250 for one door. OK we will see. Workin on a 89 XJ Chief next. Hopefully that works out.

Well the 96 ZJ seems to be back in play again. Jackass thought he was gonna sell $1,000 in parts and get full scrap price when he was done. After his father told him he was an ass, he came and asked if my offer was still good. Just gotta check with the wife tonight and i should have the title tomorrow. So if anyone wants to check it out. the bumpers are good as far as i know. Detachable bumperettes i dont think so. Its a Larado, i think only limiteds had the removable ones. I will check that and the canister as well. Good thing you asked about the canister. i would never had thought someone would be interested in that. Im on it, tomorrow hopefully the tear down begins.
