OO Fishing event Must have state Pass

hey guys whats up i came up with a idea a couple days ago. its getting hotter and fishing getting better so u no when u go on a coat u pay a nice penny to fish and u also pay for the pool who catchs biggest fish. well im thinking getting a bunch of people to goto the beach and fish throw some money in for a pool fish for say 6 hours and who ever catchs biggest fish wins the pool. i have a couple people interested lmk what you guys think its gonna be at sore thumb in june . you can bait fish use lures but we goin for fluke and bluefish and bass nothin else

That would be a great idea. But I don't know about the sore thumb in june. Pretty soon its going to filled with soccer moms and kids running around. Our best chance to be able to actually fish something besides sea robins or skate (spelling?) would be Demo.

Yeah true sore thumb gets crazy on the weekends. Are you planning on during it during the day or night? Plus demo after memorial day goes into summer hours. Also check out the moon phase and tides for the day you choose so that we don't get shitty conditions. Whatever you guys come up with Im down plus i can get a few more people to join. Should be a fun time!

I would imagine Demo getting more crowded with Soccer Moms because of the air station alone. For Sore Thumb you need to have your own OBA, so that weeds out a lot of people. I stopped going to Demo a couple of seasons ago because I got tired of people walking up and down the beach, a lot of the time not even looking and walking right into my lines. Not to mention the fleet that stays the whole weekend. Either way, I'm down to fish with some fellow Jeepers/Offroaders.

Also, you can't purchase the permit again till after Labor Day. Summer hours go into effect at Demo after this weekend.

BTW, checked out Demo a couple of weeks ago, main entrance is closed, you have to go by field 2. Air station was closed as well.

The sand replenishment project was completed on Friday, and the main 4x4 entrance at demo was reopened on the weekend. The air stations are also functioning again. ( saw this from the surf report in the fisherman).

Did they do anything with the wall in the back? I saw that last year from the Laura Lee, and drove back there early this season.
