Nope.. It looked fine on the site when I picked it, looks like the code was dated though. I don't read the fine print lol :)

Lemme see if I can find anything else from them.

I have to use the ones from the site. If people go from here on OO, and then type in their own codes you should still get the discount.

And how many of their tools have you broken in one day? I think you hold a record or something.

Careful what you buy there and save the receipts.......just saying.

Absolutely. Like all places they have their good and bad stuff. A lot of the knock offs are just that knock offs..

I've had great luck with inexpensive air tools and accessories from them so far. And things like caster wheels to make garbage cans mobile I saved ~20-30$ over doing it with HF casters opposed to ones from Lowes.

well lets see, I broke a 3/8 drive impact extension, 3/8 drive breaker bar, and a brand new pair of wire cutters... the cutters and breaker bar were on the same project, Dave you were here for those ones...

yea hand tool you gotta go craftsman. I dont see it worth spending the money on some crazy brand like snapon when craftsman has a lift time guarantee on hand tools. Ive broken a ratchet that belonged to my grandfather from how knows when and they just handed me a new one. I see harbor freight good if you need a cheep power tool like a cut off wheel or something. I got my arbor press form them and I love it.

well as long as i break it within the warranty period, i dont care, and as i replace my HF stuff with craftsman, i can give the tools to the kids

Went to my first Harbor Freight today LOL. When you have 3 tool trucks coming to your job a week theres not much need for Harbor freight run. BUT they do have some good supplies. Got a rubber gromit assortment box, and degree angle gauge, polishing wheel kit and an assortment of lock pins. All for less than $50. There Chinese hand tools scare me. But i do want there 20 ton press and the big pipe bender. Also looking to buy there big service cart. Not a bad place for disposable tools. Good for the at home projects. But not what i would use on a daily basis.

Same here with the tool trucks and I already have way to may tools as it is, but i like all the little stuff they have and would like some of the bigger shop tools for home but need to make some room first. We should do another OO harbor freight take over.

Wich pipe bender? The one that bends up to 3 inch? Im looking to get that one. I want the 20 ton press to. We have the machine shop next door with a press. But i am the type of guy, that if i use it or borrow it more than once. I buy my own. Thats why i have 2 double bay tool boxes full of tools and i still need more space. Never ever have enough tools. I know i have well over 25 grand and still buyin all the time. Never ends.

I did love the little misc crap they have. The hardware stuff, throw away drill bits, sawzall blades. All that stuff is great to find cheap. There having some big tent sale next weekend. Im looking to get the big tool cart they have. $159 for a 5 drawer tool cart with a locking lid. Snap on wants $500. for the same basic cart through there Bluepoint line. Tool boxes you need quality (and its nice to have pretty), but a cart is for kicking around and hittin with a hammer when you get pissed. So the cheaper the better LOL. But it actually looks pretty well build. If it starts to fall apart i will brace it and weld it up. Easy.

I was at HF the other weekend because I needed a deep socket for my leaf blower, and stone grinding discs to cut some slate for my front walkway.

Found them no problem.

Also bought a large machete for $4.99

Did I need it? No.. But a large machete for $4.99 is a steal and should always be purchased when offered!! Now I just need to sharpen it up nice.

I still will not buy anything safety-related there. That's just my not trusting knock off products keeping me alive.

Well they opened a new Harbor Freight in Centereach by the Autozone and Wild Wings. I went to check it out since there circular had a chinese high lift on sale for $50. Figured id check it out. I walked around but couldnt find it and figured it was a online item. Oh well. Then an employee came up to me and asked if i worked for Gershow (i was sportin my Gershow sweat shirt 565matt gave me) Thanks Matt LOL. He asked me questions about what scrap was going for. I talked with him a bit and he asked if he could help me with anything. i asked if they had the high lift in the store and that i wanted to see its quality for my Jeep. He said he had a TJ. Ahhh Jeepers unite LOL. He searched the whole store like crazy for me and when we almost gave up we found a stack hidden under neath the motorcycle jacks. ????? Whatever. My new friend opened the box for my approval. I checked it out and for $50 it looked like a good deal. So we went to checkout. He then rang it up as an open / display item. $35 out the door with tax. NICE.

Gershow shirt for the in......and fellow Jeeper for the win. Ya never know who drives a Jeep LOL. Its like some secret society.

For $35 if it works once im cool with that haha.

I bought a similar angle grinder from them and some masonry discs to repair the slate walkway at my house. It worked once, grinder seems to be in good shape after the first use. I'm still not a big fan on safety items from there but disposable or one use tools it saves a ton of $$ when you can DIY and buy the tools there cheap..

I got the 4.5" grinder. For some reason it was cheaper than the 4 inch grinder by $5. Probably cause the 4 inch one came w a disc. It was too thick for what I needed though so I ended up buying discs anyway. Used it to make short work of a stubborn sway bar link bolt on my brothers jeep.

Yeah just like 87YJ said, HF media blitzes. Every week in Sunday Newsday, emails 4+ times a week when you sign up, adds in many magazines, plus mailers. The key is to compare the coupons often. The f'd up thing is 4 coupons will come out for an item with varying expiration dates and they may all be for different %'s off. Once you learn their system you'll kick ass. NEVER buy anything there without a coupon, worse case use the standard 20% off coupon that's in every flier.

Yeah i wish i had had some real world put through the ringer feedback. But like Vinny i just tested it in the driveway and jacked up the XJ by the front bumber. Worked great there. Wont really know untill im stuckin the woods.
